Visby ringmur or the Visby wall was a defensive wall built around Visby, a Swedish town on the island of Gotland, during the medieval era. It is Scandinavia’s strongest, most preserved medieval defensive wall that was built in two stages; first during the 13th century and second during the 14th century.
