Wicklow

One of the most spectacular views in Ireland is the waterfall located in Wicklow. This is the highest waterfall in the country – 121 metres high to be more precise.

The Victor’s Way Indian Sculpture Park is a place where you can connect with the surrounding environment and immerse yourself in the stillness of the nature. The beach at Brittas Bay has been recognised of one of the best beaches in the world, receiving the Blue Flag certification to prove its magnificent value.

Cork

Cork has become a cosmopolitan and youthful town, with more that 20 major festivals every year. The famous Charlie’s Bar is a fine example of an Irish pub, where you can listen to live music and enjoy a nice Guinness beer.

This is the largest county on the island and the people from Cork often joke that this is the real capital of Ireland and not Dublin. You would be very tempted to believe it. And it is not just about the nightlife, the landscape is simply breath-taking as well. The West part has dazzling rural scenery, while the East holds the Fota Wildlife Park.

Galway

This is one of Ireland’s top destinations when it comes to feeling the traditions Irish feeling. And not only underground places, as there are two Michellin-starred restaurants in Galway.

Galway is also know for the party spirit, as there are some pretty big festivals happening there, including the International Oyster Festival. Recommended Interrail Holland Route

Route: Wicklow > Greystones > Dun Laoghaire

Wicklow: Travel to the east coast of Ireland, all the way to the place also known as ‘The Garden of Ireland’. The landscape is just breathtaking, with gorgeous National Bothanic Gardens and impressive National Parks. Book your hotel or hostel.
